OLYMPIC GOLD MEDALIST, KRISTI YAMAGUCHI,
TO PERFORM AT TIGER JAM XI IN LAS VEGAS
For the past four weeks, Olympic figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi has dominated the competition on the Dancing With The Stars (DWTS) stage and will now display her new- found, off-the-ice talent at Tiger Jam XI! Yamaguchi and her DWTS partner, Mark Ballas, will perform on Saturday, April 19, at Mandalay Bay, as part of Tiger Jam, golf legend Tiger Woods' charity event presented by AT&T. Proceeds from the event benefit the Tiger Woods Foundation which has reached over 10 million youth through educational and character development programs, scholarships and grants. The ballroom rendition will precede a live auction for sponsors and a rocking concert by superstars, VAN HALEN.
Although there will be no critiquing or scoring of Yamaguchi's performance, Len Goodman, one of three judges on DWTS, will be on hand to present a ěHollywood Packageî auction item which includes tickets to the finale of the hit ABC show. His vast knowledge of Ballroom Dancing, coupled with the witty evaluations he delivers in his sophisticated British accent, has helped make Goodman one of the most popular professional dance judges today.
Since its creation in 1998, Tiger Jam has raised more than $11 million for the Tiger Woods Foundation and select Las Vegas based charities through its sold-out performances and one-of-a-kind auction items.
